Since 1933, Provençale has been extracting limestone and marble from numerous quarries to transform them into industrial minerals.
The calcium carbonates we produce cover all types of use for this mineral: raw materials, functional additives, manufacturing aids.
Our company
Our aim is to make the best possible use of our deposits, while taking into account the impact of our activities. To this end, we are constantly upgrading our technical skills and industrial facilities in France and Spain, planning our operations over decades and continuously rehabilitating our extraction sites. We employ 180 people at 6 plants and 5 extraction sites.
Our R&D department, located in Espira de l’Agly (Pyrénées Orientales, France), has developed its expertise in the characterization of raw materials and forrmulated products, as well as in the following fields:
