Talc is a mineral composed mainly of hydrated magnesium silicate. We offer different varieties according to purity and chemical composition.
Talkron® Classic
Natural blend of talc and chlorite with a lamellar structure
Its natural properties, combined with the different particle sizes available, enable the desired gloss levels to be set and adjusted. Dispersion is also facilitated. This product is ideal for systems requiring low levels of whiteness. Its lamellar structure guarantees a hydrophobic barrier effect perfectly suited to industrial, decorative or anti-corrosion paints, and also confers good dry coverage.
Talkron® Zero
High-purity, high-whiteness talc with lamellar structure
Thanks to a dual-classification manufacturing process, the talc obtained is purified and has low oil absorption and surface area. This makes it ideal for high-solids coatings, and reduces formulation costs. Its lamellar structure and purity ensure anti-corrosion results, giving it hydrophobic properties and good outdoor resistance thanks to its barrier effect. Different particle sizes enable gloss adjustment.
Talkron® Natur
Talc of high purity and good whiteness with lamellar structure
Its lamellar particles guarantee not only a barrier effect for interior and exterior coatings, but also good covering power, reduced gloss and good chemical stability. Thanks to its fineness and specific surface area, this product can reinforce various polymers and improve their strength and flexibility. Multifunctional standard filler available in different particle sizes for a wide range of applications.
Talkron® Styl
Talc containing a small proportion of calcium carbonate and magnesium
This natural blend, with a very high level of whiteness and a predominantly lamellar structure, is particularly suitable for water-based systems.
By using a manufacturing process adapted to each product, we obtain an ideal particle size and maintain the lamellar structure and absorption level suitable for each application.
The different particle sizes enable gloss to be set and adjusted.
Talkron® Pure
Talc of high purity and whiteness
Talkron Pure® is produced by a new delamination process which results in a talc that is much more lamellar than conventional talcs. It provides a hydrophobic barrier effect for interior and exterior coatings, and gives polymers excellent strength and flexibility. Its fineness and whiteness make it a remarkable filler material. It provides superior dry coverage and is suitable for partial replacement of TiO2, thus reducing formulation costs.
