Plant in Espira de l'Agly

Although they were once linked to Cases de Pène for postal and telephone services, the Montpins quarry and plant are on the territory of Espira de l'Agly.
In the quarry and the plant at Espira de l'Agly, almost 500,000 tonnes of white marble are finely crushed each year, thanks to the power supply of more than 10,000 kilowatts. This enables us to operate automated crushing, separation and processing facilities that produce the Mikhart range (design, production and shipping).
Furthermore, 350,000 tonnes of sterile materials are extracted every year for the production of white marble.

A9 motorway - Perpignan Nord exit, then 2 options:

1° this is the easiest but the longest route: after the Perpignan Nord toll at the 1st roundabout follow directions for Perpignan by the A-road (nationale) 9, which is a dual carriageway. Take the airport exit towards Foix on the D117.
Leave the village of Espira de l'Agly on your right and before you get to Cases de Pène the Provençale plant is on the left.
2° the shortest route: after the Perpignan Nord toll at the 1st roundabout take the first road D12 on the right towards the Nord Roussillon industrial estate; do not enter this estate but follow directions for Vingrau, after a farm (mas Moutou) take the D18 road to Espira de l'Agly,
After a bridge over the river Agly at the roundabout take the Foix direction (1st exit on the roundabout), the plant is on the left before you reach the village of Cases de Pène.

From the airport:

Take the Peyrestortes direction just after the terminal, 1st road on the right, turn right at the end of the runway, in the village take the first road on the right to the roundabout and follow directions for Foix via the D117
Leave the village of Espira de l'Agly on your right and before you get to Cases de Pène the Provençale plant is on the left.
